Exactly 12 years ago, the pioneering brand of Pipiet Noorastuti, along with Yosep Dimas and Atiek Octrina, was born out of the spirit to empower local batik craftsmen and tailors in the nearby community in Solo, Central Java. Nona Rara Batik has become a local brand that is still 'green,' operating behind the scenes on Facebook and a small store in ITC Kuningan.
Stepping into the fashion industry of the homeland as a small to medium-sized enterprise. We were enthusiastic about producing garments with Indonesian batik materials. Without challenging traditional norms, Nona Rara Batik creatively blended batik with a modern taste.
